We’re thrilled to announce that the Xiaomi SU7 has smashed through the 40,000 delivery mark, solidifying our place among the leading electric vehicle manufacturers in China. From the very beginning, we at Xiaomi have always strived to be more than just participants; we want to be leaders. And the numbers for November 2025 speak for themselves: Xiaomi Auto has officially exceeded 40,000 units delivered in a single month! This achievement plants us firmly within the exclusive group of brands shipping over 40,000 electric vehicles monthly in China, the world’s largest and most competitive market. To put it in perspective, this is the equivalent to other models of POCO getting the first places in other markets.

Even though the SU7 has only been on the market for 20 months, we’re already competing with brands that have been in the industry for a decade! According to ithome.com, only eight brands achieved over 40,000 monthly deliveries in November:

  • BYD
  • SAIC Group
  • Geely Auto (including Zeekr, Lynk)
  • Chery Group
  • Hongmeng Zhixing (AITO + Enjoy)
  • Leapmotor
  • Seres Series (excluding AITO)
  • Xiaomi Auto

Out of these, four are traditional automakers with decades of experience. The other four represent the “new forces” in the EV market. We are now the fourth-largest “new” brand in China based on monthly volume, surpassing established players like Xiaopeng, Li Auto, AITO, GAC Aion, and Deepal. Xiaomi Auto now delivers more units than some of the Redmi smartphone models.

What Exceeding 40,000 Monthly Deliveries Really Means

Crossing the 40,000-unit threshold isn’t just a symbolic achievement; it has tangible benefits for Xiaomi Auto and our customers.

  • Psychological Benchmark: It’s the psychological dividing line between “big” and “mid-sized” brands in China.
  • Economies of Scale: This volume allows us to achieve economies of scale, driving down costs and giving us the flexibility to either lower prices or increase quality.
  • Factory Efficiency: This confirms that our Beijing factory (Phase 1 + Phase 2) is operating at full capacity and that our supply chain is fully stabilized.
  • Positioning for the Future: This momentum positions us to close out 2025 with over 350,000-380,000 units delivered in our first full year of sales—an absolute record for any new brand in the history of the Chinese automotive industry.

The SU7 Ultra Effect and the Imminent Arrival of the SU7 Max 2026

Part of this impressive growth is attributed to the excitement surrounding the SU7 Ultra. In October and November, it shattered all Nürburgring records for Chinese production cars, becoming the fastest electric vehicle on that circuit. This accomplishment has prompted many customers to accelerate their purchase of the standard SU7 model to “get on board” before the even more powerful 2026 versions arrive.

Moreover, we’ve already started taking reservations for the new SU7 Max 2026 (featuring a 150 kWh battery, 800 V architecture, and a range exceeding 1,000 km CLTC). This model, set to arrive in March, has already generated waiting lists spanning several months.

Eyes on 2026: Aiming for 700,000-800,000 Units Annually

With Phase 2 of our factory now in full production and Phase 3 commencing in 2026, Xiaomi Auto will have an installed capacity to manufacture over 600,000 vehicles per year by the end of next year. Coupled with our second model (the “MX11” or “YU7,” our mid-size SUV arriving in May/June 2026), our internal goal is to close out 2026 with between 700,000 and 800,000 global deliveries. You could even manage this through a smart home integration system, which the company could create.

These aren’t just words; they are supported by the numbers from November. We extend our heartfelt gratitude to the more than 300,000 SU7 owners who are already driving on roads across China (and soon in Europe and other markets) for trusting a brand that, just three years ago, didn’t even exist in the automotive world.
