Poco X6 5G: Global Edition of Redmi Note 13 Pro

Xiaomi’s sub-brand Poco, known for its mid-range and budget devices, recently introduced the Poco C65, an entry-level smartphone. Now, the tech giant is gearing up to launch several new devices, including the much-anticipated Poco X6 and Poco F6 series. These devices are expected to make their debut in the first quarter of 2024. A recent leak has provided significant insights into the upcoming Poco X6 5G, marking an exciting development in the global smartphone market.

The Evolution of the Poco X6 5G

Back in September, tipster Kacper Skrzypek had indicated that the Redmi Note 13 Pro would enter the global market under the same name. He also hinted that the Note 13 Pro would be released as a Poco device for global consumers, though the exact name was not disclosed at that time.

In a recent update from Skrzypek, it’s been revealed that the Note 13 Pro will be launched globally as the Poco X6 5G. This suggests that the X6 Pro will likely share the same specifications as the Redmi model, albeit with a distinct rear design. The Poco X6 5G is expected to feature a 6.67-inch OLED screen with a 1.5K resolution (1220 x 2712 pixels), a 120Hz refresh rate, and Gorilla Glass Victus protection. Powering the device will be the Snapdragon 7s Gen 2 processor, coupled with a 5,100mAh battery supporting 67W fast charging.

Unparalleled Performance and Camera Capabilities

In China, the Redmi Note 13 Pro is available with up to 16 GB of RAM and 512 GB of internal storage. As for the Poco X6 5G, it might come with 8 GB of RAM and up to 256 GB of internal storage.

The Note 13 Pro features a 16-megapixel front camera and a triple rear camera setup, including a 200-megapixel main sensor (with OIS), an 8-megapixel ultra-wide sensor, and a 2-megapixel macro sensor. The new revelation suggests that the Poco X6 5G may instead sport an OmniVision OV64B main sensor, replacing the 200-megapixel sensor. While the price of the Poco X6 is still unknown, it is expected to be slightly higher than the Redmi Note 13 Pro’s price in China.
