Xiaomi 17 Ultra

Analysis

The Xiaomi 17 Ultra is a hardware-first flagship: a bright, high-refresh OLED display, the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5, and a genuinely strong triple-camera system built around a new 200MP 75-100mm mechanical telephoto and a 1-inch main sensor. Reviewers consistently rate its camera and battery life among the best in the category, with 6000mAh (global spec) comfortably lasting a full day of heavy use. The trade-offs are familiar for the segment: the phone runs warm and throttles under sustained load, color reproduction across the three cameras isn't always perfectly consistent, and at €1,499 and up it's priced well above most competitors. It also isn't officially sold in the US, so buyers there are limited to importers.

Not officially sold in the US
