Xiaomi’s HyperOS rollout, initiated in mid-December, has seen the models adopting Xiaomi HyperOS Update came to a Pause.

Week after week, Xiaomi has been swiftly bringing this new layer of customization to a significant portion of its catalog. However, after updating the Redmi 12C, Xiaomi has paused its HyperOS deployment for over a week, hinting at preparations for a new phase to introduce its latest features to the Xiaomi 11 Series and Redmi Note 11.

HyperOS brings significant innovations. Its design has been revamped, incorporating a more minimalist and intuitive look. Additionally, applications like Gallery or Notes have undergone significant changes, introducing new AI-based tools. The Redmi 12C was one of the latest to update to HyperOS. Moreover, HyperOS promises a major internal overhaul, delivering a much smoother, polished system with fewer errors. Xiaomi has developed this new customization layer from scratch, addressing past issues, particularly those encountered in MIUI 14.
